 Reiki After participating in a Reiki Level 1 Workshop (see previous instalment, Reiki Series - Part 3 - Participating In Reiki Level 1 Workshop), there were many changes that occurred within me. Thinking back now, these changes were not just from the moment I completed the workshop. They continued for years after, each change seemingly building upon the previous one. To begin, I left the reiki workshop with a sense of lightness that eclipsed the reiki treatments I had received previously. It felt as if lifetimes upon lifetimes of karmic debt had been lifted. I felt as though I had a fresh canvas in which to construct my life, with me in control of how I wanted it to turn out. The feelings of self-empowerment and direction really left their mark on me. Until this point, I had felt somewhat aimless in which direction my life was heading. This wasn't to say that I didn't have options previously, it was just that they never seemed to sit quite right within me as how I would be leading my life. This had now changed.
My psychic ability and spiritual development really took an upward direction. I had always seen and felt auras and communicated with spirit, but until now I hadn't really spent any time developing those skills. I had simply acknowledged them, and assumed that everybody else could do the same. Now was now honing these skills and practising giving accurate psychic aura readings and spirit medium readings. I was feeling chakras and the aura and feedback from people was that heat coming from my hands while giving reiki healing was getting stronger. I also noticed that my understanding of people and how they thought and felt was heightened. I always new that I had a deeper understanding (or 6th sense) than most for reading behind the scenes of the people I came in contact with, but this was becoming stronger with more detailed information available. A big relief was that issues that had been cycling in and out of my life began to resolve. These ranged from the physical such as sugar cravings, to thought processes and emotions. The way I communicated within myself and to the world also change for the better. My whole life really seemed to be moving in a direction that feel right within me, through every fibre of my being.
