As artwork they are beautiful, but are so much more than this. It can be translated roughly as a 'circle' and in Buddhist tradition represents the universe. The most well known type of Movement Meditation is Tai Chi where chi is moved through the body and thoughts are only focused on the movement of the body. Getting lost in the music while dancing at a night club would be the most common way that people reach a meditative state without even realising it!
